Cast Biographies
Bruce White
Sir Lawrence Wargrave
Recently retired and living in Sutherland, Bruce looks forward to spending his newfound free time developing his character for the stage. He first performed for an audience in 3rd grade and has been involved in theater ever since. Bruce has been part of several productions at our local playhouse, including roles in Murder On The Orient Express, Footloose, Chicago, and The Play That Goes Wrong. When he isn’t on stage you can hear Bruce playing percussion in the orchestra pit, with the Municipal Band, and with the Sandhills Symphony. He has previously worked with most of the cast and crew in this show. Based on what he knows about their dedication to theater, he is excited about the final product which he’s sure the community will thoroughly enjoy.
Victoria Norgaard
Vera Claythorne
Victoria is a news anchor for KNOP News 2 and KSNB Local4. She loves to spend her free time at the playhouse, often volunteering time to help when not needed on the stage. You most recently saw her as Sandra/Florence in The Play That Goes Wrong and she takes pride in playing a part within the community in more ways than one. Overall, she thanks God for the opportunities North Platte has presented her.
Adam Otte
Philip Lombard
Adam is relatively new to the theater with this being only his second production, the first being part of the stage crew for The Play That Goes Wrong. He’s loving his time with this cast and crew and learning lots. Outside of the theater Adam enjoys raising animals and children with his wife, Maggie, on their hobby ranch and helping people achieve their fitness goals at Enzo.
Mark Cullinan
William Blore
Mark is retired and spends most of his time in the role of Grandpa! He is a veteran of previous playhouse productions and last appeared as Attorney Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago. Mark previously appeared as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, King Triton in The Little Mermaid and has had leading and supporting roles in numerous other musicals. This is Mark’s first appearance in a play and he is looking forward to the challenge of helping tell a story on stage without music! Mark is thankful for the love and encouragement of his wife Gena and all the community members who support playhouse productions!
Brian McLain
Dr. Armstrong
After his theatrical debut in The Play That Goes Wrong, Brian is excited to be on stage again, this time in a more dramatic role as Dr. Armstrong in Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. He credits his love of mysteries, at least in part, to reading Agatha Christie novels in his youth. When he’s not on stage pretending to be a doctor, he nurses computers back to health as a genuine I.T. professional.
Kara Kreis
Emily Brent
Kara is new to the playhouse stage but she has been in two productions at the Gothenburg playhouse: Let’s Murder Marsha and 12 Angry Jurors. She is a pharmacist at Depot Drug, and in her free time she likes to spend time on the lake and is active at her church, American Lutheran in Gothenburg. She occasionally gets roped in to helping her husband and son on their ostrich ranch.
Benjamin Hill
Thomas Rogers
Benjamin Hill is terrific to perform as Thomas Rogers for his 22nd show at the NPCP. A Musical Theatre graduate from UNK where he has performed in numerous shows for a multitude of audiences. He calls North Platte his home and the North Platte Community Playhouse his home away from home where he has performed several characters over the years; especially being involved in all shows last season. He would like to thank you for supporting this little gem of the community as the arts are always a necessity within each community!
Ted Pucylowski
General MacKenzie
Ted and his beautiful wife Budine live in the Logan County Sandhills with their 2 dogs, 2 cats, and six chickens. This is Ted’s third play, having portrayed Hercule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express and was Perkins the Butler in The Play That Goes Wrong here at the NP Community Playhouse.
Sam Fornander
Anthony Marston
Sam Fornander has been a part of the North Platte Community Playhouse since he was a small child with his first on stage roll as the King’s youngest child in The King and I. Sam has done several other shows both on stage and behind the scenes with two of his favorite shows being Spamalot and Drinking Habits. He would also like to thank his wife Desiree and daughter Hermione for their support.
Amber Martinson
Ethel Rogers
Amber started her theater journey with the Amherst Community Chorus. From there, she did theater in college at CCC. After marrying her husband, Rob, she started her journey with NPCP. This is her sixth show onstage with the playhouse. She lives in North Platte with her husband and daughter, Grace.
